More than three dozen people attacked a family in broad daylight in Sisai Tola Baikunthpur of Bhore police station area of Gopalganj district for encroaching land. Four members of the family were injured in this attack, out of which the condition of two people is said to be critical. After this incident, an atmosphere of panic was created in the entire area. This incident of land grabbing in broad daylight has raised questions on law and order.
At the same time, the victims say that this attack had happened a day before also. Information regarding this was given to the local police station. Despite that no action was taken. On the other hand, the police took action and took two people into custody in this case.
According to the information, Ramkishan Chauhan, resident of Sisai Tola Baikunthpur village, has built his house on the land. Ramanand Chauhan of the village was trying to capture that land by claiming it as his own. Regarding this, on October 1, Ramkishan Chauhan’s family was attacked along with 30-40 people with the intention of taking over the land. But everyone somehow saved their lives by running away. A written application was given by the said people to the local police station regarding the incident. But no action was taken by the police.
Here, on October 2, once again in broad daylight, 30 to 40 men armed with weapons attacked the family of Ramkishan Chauhan. In this attack, Ramkishan Chauhan’s wife Lalmati Devi, Ramesh Chauhan’s wife Durgavati Devi, Bablu Chauhan and Ramesh Chauhan were badly injured due to their beating. Out of these, the condition of Lalmati Devi and Durgavati Devi remains critical, who have been referred to Gopalganj.
There is an atmosphere of panic in the area after this incident. People are discussing all kinds of things. On the other hand, after receiving the information, the police immediately arrived and took into custody the two people who attacked, who are being interrogated. In the matter, the police said that based on the application of the victim, an FIR will be registered and appropriate action will be taken.
